Our story
Four states, one rooftop
The Mill began with a simple idea: that Davangere deserved a room with a view and a kitchen worth the climb. Our Four States plates travel the coast and the Deccan — Mangalorean ghee roast, Andhra chilli, Bengali kasundi, old Bengaluru military mutton — and sit happily beside a Thai red curry or a plate of ravioli. The benne donne biryani is ours and this city's, and we are not shy about it.
The room
A rooftop, not a dining hall
We are a rooftop restaurant and lounge on top of SS Mall on Shamanur Road. The kitchen runs from late morning to late night, the bar keeps pace, and the terrace is at its best once the light goes. Come for lunch, stay for the sunset, or arrive after nine and let the evening take care of itself.
What we cook
Four states, and a few more besides
The heart of the menu is regional Indian — Mangalorean, Andhra, Bengali and old Bengaluru. Around it sits a tandoor, a pan-Asian wok, a pasta section and a grill.

Ghee roast, gongura, kasundi, military mutton chops. The part of the menu you will not find elsewhere in Davangere.
Davangere Benne Donne Biryani
Short-grain, fragrant, served in a leaf bowl. Our city's own, and we are not shy about it.
From the tandoor
Paneer tikka, malai broccoli, Nizam mutton seekh, macher paturi — charcoal and patience.
Pan-Asian
Korean glaze wings, pandan prawns, Thai red curry, nasi goreng. A wok that actually gets hot.
